My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
Being a pro-choice therapist means I am committed to holding space that affirms each person's right to bodily sovereignty, and I view this as a core part of ethical, feminist, and trauma informed care.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
As a psychotherapist, I believe reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy are fundamental to mental health, personal agency, and collective liberation. The ability to make informed, empowered choices about one's body, family, and future is essential to healing- especially for those whose identities, histories, or circumstances have been shaped by trauma, oppression, or systemic control.
