My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
In an ideal world, all therapists "should" be pro-choice. Seeking therapy is hard enough and being able to trust that a clinician is unbiased and non-judgmental is essential. A pro-choice therapist will provide factual, unbiased information and resources while helping someone navigate whatever decision is best.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
Reproductive rights are human rights. We all should have the freedom and autonomy to make our own decisions about our bodies, if/when we want children, and how we decide to do that.
