One of the guiding principles of social work is self-determination, the concept that each person has the ability and power to make the best decision for themselves. I strongly believe that each person knows themselves best, knows what they need, and can make the best decision for themselves without influence from anyone else, including me.

Without self-determination, reproductive freedom, and body autonomy, we are not free!
