My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
Being a pro-choice therapist means that I can be their to listen and support those who are making decision about what they want for their bodies and how and if they would like to be pregnant, parent or have an abortion without worry of stigma. It also means that I can be there to support those providing this care to others in a way that supports them in a job that can be difficult to talk about with others due to others beliefs,
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
Reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy is important to me because I believe in reproductive justice. I believe that all people know themselves and their bodies better than anyone else. All people should have the ability to decide what happens to the their body without restriction.
