My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
Being a pro-choice therapist means that I am affirming of any and all of my clients' reproductive decisions. I view my role in providing unbiased information as needed and helping clients to process their feelings around these decisions without judgment. I understand this can be a scary process and meeting a new therapist is nerve-wracking. Reach out and let's see if we are a good fit!
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
My background is in both social work and women, gender, & sexuality studies. Professionally, I believe that it is vital to support reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy to be in compliance with the ethical obligation of supporting clients right to self determination.
