I have always seen reproductive freedom as a basic human right. I believe body autonomy is vital to the physical and mental wellbeing of an individual. It is no one's right to tell someone else what to do with their own body. As a social worker, one of our core values instilled in us is client self-determination, meaning at the end of the day, the client will do what is best for themselves. I believe this value aligns neatly with reproductive freedom and body autonomy.
