My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
To be pro-choice as a therapist means to support clients in their decisions. It is not my place as a clinician to tell a client what to do; it is my place to help clients decide what information is necessary for them to make informed decisions, access resources, and find support at various times in their life.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
Reproductive and bodily autonomy are important to me because I believe that every person should have bodily autonomy and the right to access essential medical care. This is non-negotiable in my worldview.
