My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
As a women's mental health therapist I am particularity passionate about helping women understand ways that their reproductive health and sexual health impact their mental health.
Women who are navigating unexpected reproductive experiences often feel confused, unheard, and unsupported as they face incredibly difficult decisions in combination with complex, often overwhelming, emotions. As a pro-choice therapist my goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive space where you are able to have empowered, authentic conversations about your reproductive experiences. We will work together to address feelings of anxiety, shame, powerlessness, and self-doubt so that you are empowered to work towards your reproductive goals in a way that feels authentic to you.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
The ability to make decisions about how, when, or if you want to become a parent is a crucial part of your mental health and wellbeing. You deserve to have the right to make decisions about your body and your relationships in whatever way feels most in alignment for you as you consider your future!
