I work with caregivers, parents (and those of kids with special needs), elderly, those with chronic illness, people with dementia, and those coping with end of life or death/dying (their own journey or a loved one). My approach is compassionate, funny, and I help clients be more gentle with themselves and others. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, a client centered approach that is strengths based, and look to various modalities for perspective including feminism, systems theory and social justice.
