My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
Being a pro-choice therapist means that I respect a person's right to bodily autonomy and their ability to exercise free will.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
People are born with an inherent free will and being able to exercise that free will is an important piece of functioning in a way that is conducive to the good of not just the individual, but society as a whole. When I refer to free will, I am referring to the use of it in a way that does not violate the liberty or free will of another person.
