My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
It means that when an individual is in a situation where they have choices to make regarding their body and reproductive freedom, that I provide a safe space for them to explore those choices. It means they can talk about every thought/feeling they are having and know that I am not judging them. It also means I can provide them with safe resources.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
Well as a clinician and just generally as a human I firmly believe everyone deserves the right to have reproductive freedom and body autonomy. Others do not deserve an opinion let alone a decision regarding what you choose in regards to your reproduction or body.
