My Pro-Choice Perspective
What being a Pro-Choice Therapist means to me:
A pro-choice therapist is someone who is able to provide a safe space to someone beginning with exploring pregnancy options through that choice and beyond. A pro-choice therapist is not invested in any specific pregnancy outcome, and is truly focused on supporting the individual.
Why I think bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom are important:
Reproductive events/decisions can play such a major part of an individual's life. Everyone deserves to have the space, support and ability to making the decisions for their body and self. It's okay to feel however you are feeling around your unique circumstance. It's important to me that you are able to find a nonjudgemental space to process and be seen.
