I work with a psychodynamic, holistic, and solution-focused approach. This means we will bring in some of your early life history to make sense of narratives, or stories, from your past that are contributing to you feeling stuck or hindered in your current life. All the while we will actively work on nurturing your general well-being, your sense of psychological safety, and connectedness. I draw from researched modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment theory as well as holistic mediums like boundary work, guided visualizations, narrative journaling, and more.
